I started the Hawt Coco project as a street performing bucket-drummer in the heart of San Francisco, competing across the country in Drum Corps International, and dancing with thousands of different people at underground bass music events. These experiences left me with the feeling of blending seamlessly into the chaotic web of creative vibration which drives all of my projects and productions. This flow is what sustains me as an artist. 

Music allows me to channel chaos into something recognizable and personal. It is a meditative yet physical activity, and as such, rhythm and constant change take center stage in my creative process. Marching Percussion, Hip-Hop, Neurobass, Dubstep, House, Drum n Bass, Techno, Soul, Funk, and Jazz are all foundations of my style and expression.
